Danny Wegman is the CEO (and the face) of Wegmans and a local celebrity. His father is the late Robert Wegman, who along with Danny, helped expand the Wegmans stores into New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland. His daughter is Colleen Wegman, who is currently the president of Wegmans.
Danny often visits the Rochester area stores, especially the Super Wegmans located in Pittsford to chat with the employees and make an overall scene when the employees realize they have to scurry around to clean up their work area. Many Rochester residents take notice of his clothing choices, which can be described as flashy, or unfortunate.
